Language School Registration Policies

Students must submit a valid copy of their passport and signed application form in order to be admitted to Canada College. Cancellation and Refund Policies All notices regarding cancellations and refunds must be given in writing by mail or e-mail stating a valid reason of withdrawal from the program. All refunds will be made to the same person and account who made the initial payment as they were received by the school (bank transfer, credit card, debit, or direct deposit). The bank and credit card fees applicable to the payment of the refund will be deducted from the total amount to refund. Canada College will process refunds within 30 business days once the school receives all the necessary documentation from the student. Registration fees are not refundable.

Program Cancellation

Before Program Start Date:

If you cancel less than ten days after submitting your registration, no cancellation fee will be charged. If your Student Visa was denied by the CIC, no cancellation fee will be charged and we will refund 100% of the tuition fees you paid. Canada College will process your cancellation and refund request only if you supply your CIC refusal letter as proof.

After Program has started:

If you cancel within 30% of the total length of your program, 50% of the fees will be charged.Students who withdraw from courses after 30% of the total length of their program will not receive any refund.

If you are absent for a prolonged period (1 month or longer), you will pay the current tuition rates upon your return. If the tuition rates have increased during your absence, the previous rates do not apply. Tuition must be paid on time. Any delayed payment will result in added interest charges.

If you wish to cancel your program at Canada College, you must demonstrate that it is legal for you to remain in Canada. Otherwise, you will have to accompany your refund request with proof that you will leave the country, for example, a return flight ticket to your home country. If you change schools, the original letter of acceptance and tuition payment receipt that proves that you are enrolled in a different school is required as well as proof that you meet the initial conditions stated in your Visa application. If you are not able to provide any of these documents and you want to remain in Canada, you must apply for a Visa status change.

Program Changes

You can upgrade but not downgrade your program. Ex, if you want to change from a full-time program to a part-time program, you will have to cancel the program and reapply. The cancellation policy will apply.

Postponements

If you wish to postpone the start date of your program, you must notify Canada College 10 business days in advance. The College will issue a new letter of acceptance for a change of date at an administrative cost of 50 $. A maximum of 3 postponements are allowed, otherwise the file will be closed.
